Victory For Humanity

Budget 2018 Supports the Continuity of Iskandar Malaysia Development

Joining hands to restore faith in humanity was what the newly crowned champion of Malaysia Cup 2017, Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) did when they made a pledge to assist the flood victims in Penang.

In an online statement, JDT FC President, HH Tunku Tun Aminah said that it has been among the policies of the football club to provide aid to those in need such as to the previous plight victims in Pahang, Kelantan, and earthquake victims in Sabah.

“JDT FC and its players gave their Malaysia Cup prize money to the flood victims as decreed by HRH Crown Prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim,” said Tunku Tun Aminah.

Penang was hit by flash floods due to strong winds and heavy rains since the 4th of November 2017 which submerged the city up to 1m water height with deaths reported.
