The Crown Prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim officiated and unveiled the new Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) football stadium design and concept at Forest City.
Country Garden PacificView Sdn Bhd (CGPV) is entrusted to build the upcoming stadium that encompasses a professional football field with a ground floor area spanning 140,000 square metres and 70,000 square metres of building area.
“We are more than honoured to be associated with JDT Football Club. The stadium which will have a natural grass field, advanced sounding system with live broadcast system can house up to 40,000 spectators in full capacity,” said Executive Director of CGPV, Datuk Md Othman Yusof at the launch.
Othman continued that to complement the RM200 million stadium, CGPV is also planning to build a sports centre and a commercial centre. The stadium is expected to meet completion by end of 2018 while earthworks are under way.
Also in attendance was the Crown Prince’s consort Che’ Puan Khaleeda Bustamam, daughter Princess Tunku Khalsom Aminah Sofiah and Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin.
