Forest City master developer, Country Garden Pacific View (CGPV) will invest RM935 million to build its first International School, Shattuck St. Mary’s Forest City. Scheduled to be built in three phases, they are expecting to open their doors to the first 150 students by August 2018.
Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony, CGPV Executive Director, Datuk Md Othman Yusof expects the school to have a positive impact on the township.
“The development of Shattuck St. Mary’s Forest City over the five years will enrich the educational resources in Iskandar Malaysia, generating a positive spill over impact to the regional economic development,” said Othman.
Johor Health, Environment, Education and Information Committee Chairman Datuk Ayub Rahmat witnessed the ceremony today together with the Executive Directors of CGPV, Datuk Daing A. Malek Daing A. Rahaman, Datuk Md. Othman Yusof and Teo Chee Yow.
Spread over 23.2 acres, the first phase covers over 620,000 square feet and will include an academic building and a performing and visual arts centre.
