Kumpulan Prasarana Rakyat Johor (KPRJ) and its subsidiary KPRJ Builders Sdn Bhd (KBSB) had conducted a groundbreaking ceremony for the upcoming SAKJ Bandar Seri Alam 2 which is part of the Johor State Government School Project (SAKJ) Phase 5 execution.
The event was held at Al-Falah Mosque in Seri Alam which is adjacent to the site of the new school. Johor Chief Minister Datuk Seri Khaled Nordin was present to officiate the ceremony.
“We aim to build another 30 religious schools to provide Islamic education to the rest of Johor. We plan to build two more in Muar next,” said Khaled.
KPRJ has been entrusted by the state government as the main contractor of the current phase of the SAKJ project.
The new school will be built on 2.3 acres of land and will have 22 classrooms including an interactive classroom for Johor Islamic Kindergarten (TAJ). There will also be a vault to store examination papers and other important educational documents for the Pasir Gudang zone.
The phase 5 of the SAKJ development work started in April 2017 and will end in December 2019.
