Do you smell the nice aroma of Swedish meatballs and furniture? The long wait is finally over as IKEA Tebrau will be opening its doors to the public on 16th November 2017, benchmarked as the biggest IKEA store in Southeast Asia.
The announcement was made during IKEA Tebrau Roof Capping with the media by IKEA Southeast Asia Retail Director, Mike King and IKEA Tebrau Store Manager, Annie Chandler. This third store in Malaysia has over 300 co-workers since its initial development.
“The store spans 502,815 square feet and is equipped with solar panels which translates to more than 45% reduction in electricity usage. Later, Johorians will be able to enjoy over 8000 home furnishing products, 54 Swedish inspired showrooms, 750 seats at our IKEA Restaurant and the convenience of 1771 indoor and outdoor parking bays,” continued Mike.
There are also additional convenience for consumers to enjoy which are courtesy buses that will operate directly from Komtar JBCC to IKEA and flexible payment options (full or installment).
IKEA Tebrau operation hours will start from 9.30a.m till 11p.m daily.
