Frost & Sullivan Malaysia had co-organised the annual Frost the Trail with Medini Iskandar Malaysia (MIM) and GBS Iskandar in Medini 7, Iskandar Puteri. Held for the third year, almost 400 runners joined the charity run that managed to raise RM59,250 for its designated beneficiary, Darul Hanan Orphanage in Pasir Gudang.
For the first time, Frost the Trail Iskandar featured a new student category, in addition to the existing Individual 10km and Group of four runners 5km categories.
Participants of Frost the Trail Iskandar 2017 received a finisher T-shirt and goodie bag, while medals were awarded to the top three participants of each category. After the run, participants had the pleasure of enjoying a small on-site carnival of food, entertainment and a kompang performance by the children of Darul Hanan Orphanage.
“Congratulations to Frost & Sullivan for organising the third ‘Frost the Trail Run’ in Medini and we are delighted to see active involvement from our corporate tenants in creating a much more lively Medini City,” said Dr. James Tee, Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of Medini Iskandar Malaysia.
MIM has been instrumental with its initiatives to transform Medini City into a ‘City Within A Park’, whereby city dwellers are able to enjoy green urban public parks and ride around Medini along our dedicated 22km-long cycling path.
Events such as ‘Frost the Trail Run’ help to promote and position Medini City as an attractive and vibrant lifestyle destination of choice.
