The enterprise and public sector business solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) Group, TM ONE officially launched the state-of-the-art Iskandar Puteri Data Centre (IPDC) located in Nusajaya Technology Park, Johor.
Johor Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, was present to grace the launching ceremony.
The carrier neutral data centre houses TM’s international gateway which provides services such as end-to-end managed information, Communication and Technology (ICT), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Cloud services via high-speed broadband connectivity to cater to ASEAN region customers.
“We are proud to announce the official launch of our TM ONE world-class IPDC, designed to fulfill the hosting, cloud and Internet of Things (IoT) requirement of our business and enterprise customers as well as governments agencies in their digital transformation,” said TM Chairman Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr. Sulaiman at the event.
“The data centre is primed to meet the industry’s standards in ensuring high availability, energy savings, and advanced security specifications to satisfy enterprises in need of ultimate reliability,” he added.
Khaled Nordin said, “This data centre is the first of various plans for Johor to be Malaysia’s new economic powerhouse. This initiative will help realise the vision of ‘Intelligence Johor’ that the state aspires to be”.
