Sunway to invest another RM4 billion in Sunway City Ipoh in the next 15-20 years
Sunway property has unveiled Sunway Onsen Suites as its latest innovative masterpiece in the integrated green township of Sunway City Ipoh.
Conceptualised as the first serviced suites in Asia integrating natural hot springs within the development, the unique development comprises of three tower blocks in total, exceeding RM400 Million in Gross Development Value.
The serviced suites come in studio, two-bedroom and three bedroom variations ranging from 592 Sq ft to 1,184 Sq ft. There are also six units of luxurious Onsen Villas which start at 2,712 Sq ft. The starting prices of the units are RM391,000.
The serviced suits are located within a RM1 billion GDV integrated development spanning 31 acres, which includes the proposed Lost World Mall, Medical Centre, Assisted Living, with Hot springs facilities and Education.
With direct flights from around Malaysia as well as from Singapore, Sunway City Ipoh Senior General Manager Wong Wan Wooi is confident that the development area will become a major tourist destination. Wong explained that in tandem with Ipoh’s rising acclaim as an international tourism hot spot and one of the best places to retire in the world, according to the statistics department. “Sunway Onsen Suites offers the best of urban conveniences which are all found in the integrated Sunway City Ipoh Township, as well as the best of nature.” He said.
He also added, “We will continue to support the state’s tourism ambitions in the coming years through the development of tourism products and through active partnership with the state’s tourism promotion authorities.”
