Seri Alam Properties Sdn Bhd was proud to organise a ‘Back-to-School Programme’ recently in collaboration with Jawatankuasa Penduduk Zon Seri Alam 1 Majlis Perbandaran Pasir Gudang that benefited 75 children from Flat Tasek 64.
Officiated by Liow Chai Tung, Johor Women and Tourism Development Committee Chairman, the event was also attended by Ku Chee Chen, MPPG Councilor Seri Alam 1 and KK Wong, Group Director of UMLand Townships.
All 75 children received RM60 Greenpoint vouchers and also brought home a brand-new school bag. “We aim to lessen the burden of parents in preparing their children for the new school session in 2019,” said Liow during her speech.2019
Liow added that she was concerned on the well-being of the children in the residential area, and has since initiated the upgrading of the playground so that the children can play safely and happily.
The event ended with Liow joining the community in making rice balls to celebrate the Chinese Winter Solstice 2018 before visiting the completed playground upgrading project.
