As Malaysia continues to be under Movement Control Order (MCO) since 18th March, the frontliners made up of healthcare workers and many other industries have worked tirelessly every day to ensure the effort made to curb any further infection is at its optimum. With the various CSR activities conducted by many, The Chicken Rice Shop (TCRS) has also joined in the bandwagon to help aid these frontliners at work by preparing hot food on the go for each of them.

TCRS Restaurants Sdn Bhd Head of Marketing, June Song said that TCRS would like to support the frontliners so they can be rejuvenated from fatigue and keep their bodies in optimum condition while battling the virus.
“The frontline staffs have been dedicated to protect us, and we can only imagine the only time they have to get a meal. In order to ensure they are provided with food that would replenish their strength and energy, TCRS has taken steps to provide them meals as an effort to maintain their well-being,” said June.
TCRS provided their food aid to hospitals nationwide and that includes Hospital Ipoh, Hospital Seberang Jaya, Penang; Hospital Tuanku Jaafar, Seremban; Hospital Sungai, Kedah; Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II, Kelantan; Hospital Segamat Hospital, Johor; Hospital Miri, Sarawak; Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Pahang; Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Klinik Kesihatan Rantau Panjang, Klang and Hospital Klang.
In addition, as a result of the shortage of food stocks for non-profit organisations, TCRS has also helped aid the needy by providing food to ElShaddai Center Berhad, Klang, an organisation that supports the marginalised communities.
TCRS stays aligned with their slogan of ‘Chicken Rice … and Others’ by constantly supporting the community regardless of background, and are determined in bringing a smile to every face by providing them delicious food.
