MATTA Fair is known as one of “Malaysia’s Premier Fair” which showcases a comprehensive range of travel and holiday products from all over Malaysia and the world under one roof. The recent Johor MATTA Fair was held in August with attractive bargains and great value in all tour packages.

The Johor MATTA Fair was officiated by Liow Cai Tung, the Chairman of State Women Development and Tourism Committee. During her visit there, she said that the state government is planning on adding more tourism programmes and attractions.

“Year 2020 will be meaningful to Johor, because of the Johor Tourism Year 2020 and the Malaysia Games (SUKMA) that is scheduled to be held on the same year. With the cooperation of all districts in Johor, we hope to present Johor in a more pleasant way. Every district plays an important role in realising the effort because of their own attraction and uniqueness,” said Liow.

During the Johor Bahru Fair, there were representations from Tourism Johor, Japan National Tourism Organisation (JNTO) and Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia for Batam and Bintan Cross Border Promotion, 31 travel agencies, 3 hotels & resorts, 2 waterparks and 10 travel related services taking up total of 150 booths at Danga Bay Convention Centre.

The Fair also had 3 smart partners which was Desaru Coast, Costa Cruise and Malaysia Airlines.
