Amari Johor Bahru Doing Its Part for Pertubuhan Kebajikan Fitrah Qaseh

Amari Johor Bahru and Maslee staff spread festive cheer to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Fitrah Qaseh children

The hotel partnered with Maslee Sdn Bhd in its bid to give back to the society in this holy month of fasting

The holy month of Ramadan is the time for caring and sharing, and Amari Johor Bahru is no stranger in doing its part, this time by visiting Pertubuhan Kebajikan Fitrah Qaseh, a shelter home for about 40 homeless children.

Spearheaded by the hotel’s Director of Public Relations and Marketing Communications, M.S. Bobby, the hotel contributed clothes, toys, household items, sundries and food to the home. They also brought along a 4-kg chocolate cake, biryani rice and chicken rendang for the children to break their fast.

Together with Bobby were the hotel’s Director of Human Resources, Suzelah Ahmad, Training and Development Manager Nor Isza bin Ismail, Director of Engineering Nathan Veerasamy, Security Manager Badrul Hisham, Rooms Division Manager Izahalil Rohaizad and Marina Putra, secretary to Area General Manager.

The hotel partnered with Maslee Sdn Bhd which generously contributed groceries such as rice, flour, oil, eggs, sugar and other household items.

“This is the second time we paid a visit to the home together with Kamarolazman bin Ibrahim, Area Manager from Maslee Distribution Centre Sdn Bhd and his team. We greatly appreciate the concerted efforts of all the hotel team members in collecting clothes and toys for the children. We hope to visit more often to help the home. Camelia Fitri and her husband manage the home and we would like to reach out to the public to come forward to help these children who need tender loving care and the home also requires daily sundries and household items”, said Nor Isza binti Ismail.

“We support and value the communities in which we live and work by bringing our social responsibility commitment to live by organising several activities for the less fortunate. Since the hotel opened in May 2017, we have organised several corporate social responsibility activities with the aim to support the underprivileged children in poor areas in Johor,” added Nor Isza.
