Trove Hotel Johor Bahru (Trove Hotel) located at Jalan Dato Abdullah Tahir had its grand opening mid last month making it the fourth hotel launched by Care Luxury Hotels & Resorts (CLHR) Management Group after Hotel Granada Johor Bahru, Tunamaya Beach & and Spa Resort Desaru Coast and Tunamaya Beach & Spa Resort Tioman Island.
Trove Hotel is strategically surrounded by major business hubs and shopping centres and is just a stone’s throw away from the city centre.
“As Trove Hotel Johor Bahru has fully opened its doors, we believe that this will lift the bar for fellow players and affiliates in the local tourism industry as well as those vying for the top spot for the best hospitality provider in the making,” said Ian Gan, Director Representative of Care Luxury Hotels & Resorts in his speech.
Liow Cai Tung, Johor Executive Committee Chairman for Woman Development and Tourism officiated the opening alongside Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, Datuk Mohamaddin bin Ketapi.
“As Johor welcomes more tourists in the coming months, this hotel’s opening is timely welcomed, adding that she will be constantly monitoring the standard of hotels to ensure that they out-serve their service standards,” said Cai Tung.
During the press conference, Datuk Mohamaddin bin Ketapi said he would like to encourage hotels in Malaysia to be more eco-friendly such as putting water dispensers on every floor to encourage guests to use their own water bottles. In addition, he also would like to push for the local authorities to ensure neat and clean environment of surroundings.
Trove Hotel Johor Bahru’s 283 themed rooms are spread across 27 floors together with a magnificent view of the Johor Bahru city skyline as guests can also capture the splendour and charms of Johor’s storied past, an excellent starting point to explore the city. With the Second Link Highway, the hotel has become easily accessible from Singapore and it is also a few minutes drive from the Causeway.
