Back-To-School recipients were happy to receive their brand-new school bags

The biggest event of the year by Care United Johor Bahru; the 3-in-1 event- Karnival Sains Kanak-Kanak, Food Aid & Back to School Project which took place at Kompleks Tan Sri Mohamed Rahmat had successfully achieved its objective in providing those in need with essential goods together with Pertubuhan Integrasi Nasional (PIN).

Around 300 underprivileged children from orphanages and homes across Johor joined the journey of interactive science exploration prepared by volunteers from the Association of Science, Technology and Innovation (ASTI) and the students of Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM).

Meanwhile, 200 needy families of Kg. Skudai Kiri received their food aid hampers in conjunction with the 6th Food Aid.

Care United had also taken a step further by providing new school necessities worth RM140.00 each for the selected 300 students. The packages were distributed by Tuan Haji Azam bin Abu, Co-Curricular Assistant Director from the State Education Department of Johor.
