5 Reasons Why Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark Should Be On Your Holiday Bucket List

Kick-start Your ‘Splashing’ Holidays at DCAWP – now open 7 days a week

It’s the year-end holidays and Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark (DCAWP), one of the world’s biggest waterparks, is set to offer a splashing great time for everyone. Since its soft launch in July 2018, DCAWP has been receiving thousands of visitors and they are well prepared to welcome thousands more. Operating on daily basis now, DCAWP offers absolutely something for everyone right from kids to tweens, teens and families with young children, to young adults and the ‘young-at-hearts’.

There are five different types of experience under one roof that you can enjoy with tickets from as low as RM90, which is absolutely worth your penny.

The Penawar Falls offers the first exciting view of the waterpark. Encounter a classic Swinging Ship theme park ride as well as the Surf Wall, a safe and high-energy surf simulator.

Next, The Penawar River is designed for the leisure seekers. The 350-metre long, looping lazy river goes through lushly-landscaped riverbanks and offers rides such as Wild Whirl and Super Twister, and The Tempest with its 60-meter-diameter tornado-shaped funnel.

But The Shipwreck Reef is designed for thrill junkies. Kraken’s Revenge, the first-of-its-kind in Malaysia, is not for the faint hearted. I will not spoil your surprise, so try it to know it!

The Tidal Wave Beach is one of the biggest wave pools in the world, where everyone may have fun playing in big ocean-like waves.

Kids Ahoy zone was designed with children in mind, with three separate age-appropriate play areas filled with water play equipment with a combination of 13 different water slides such as Li’l Warrior’s Hideout, Scallywags and Starfish Splash.

Beyond the rides and attractions, the waterpark also offers facilities such as prayer rooms, first-aid rooms, rest rooms, lockers, cabanas and more to ensure the comfort and safety of its guests. There will also be free shuttle services to DCAWP and within Desaru Coast where the waterpark is located.

Don’t worry about food as the Kelong Eatery and The River Grill can fill up your empty stomachs after enjoying the rides. Best part about Kelong Eatery is you can have your food while watching others splash into The Shipwreck Reef, and don’t miss out on the juicy Grill Lamb Burger if you are heading to The River Grill.

Jeff Jouett, General Manager of Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark said, “DCAWP was built with one vision in mind, – and that is to be the perfect place for everyone to create fun and fond memories,”

So if you are ready to create fun and fond memories, grab your tickets now! Tickets are available at the ticketing counters at the waterpark. Alternatively, guests can also visit www.dcawp.com for e-ticketing options, promotions and more information.
