The stacks of dim sums have always been a delightful affair with its environment of food sharing among your family and friends, and having a buffet of it has made it even better for any dim sum lover out there.
Taking a few steps down the stairs to Thistle Johor Bahru’s Glass Cafe, where the All-You-Can-Eat Dim Sum Buffet is held, a piece of form to pick and choose the dim sum of your liking are given for walk-in guests. It is tempting to tick all of them, but do remember the hotels’ Terms and Conditions that include no leftovers and no takeaways allowed which is certainly a good policy to avoid no wastage of food.

Specially curated by award-winning Executive Chef Vincent Yap Gin Kee with 30 years of experience in creative Asian and Chinese cuisines, expect a spread of 24 freshly prepared dim sums. We indulged in the sweet, spicy yet savoury Chicken Wu Xiang, Pandan Chicken and Har Kao, the lovely prawn dumplings which became a favourite. The deep-fried seabass with zesty 3-rasa gravy completes the dim sum experience. End the session with sweet desserts with 5 choices from Chinese Pancake, Lemon tart, Mango Pudding and Chocolate pudding panna cotta.
