The 7th Private & International School Fair that was held last month at Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour, Iskandar Puteri attracted around 250 families made up of local, expatriate parents and their school-going children.
According to Co-founder and Director, Nickie Yew, “The demand for international education in Johor has not wavered in recent years. The fair attracted not only local parents, but many expatriate parents from Korea and Japan.”
Visitors had the opportunity to meet 21 exhibitors at the fair including Austin Heights International Schools, Crescendo-HELP International School, Excelsior International School, Fairview International School, Kolej Yayasan UEM, Marlborough College Malaysia, Matrix Global Schools, Peninsula International School Australia, Raffles American School, Shattuck-St. Mary’s Forest City International School, Sunway International School, Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens and UUM International School Melaka. The fair also featured Aster International Preschool, GIRIH Geometric Puzzle, KTC Accountant Institute, QNAP Systems Inc, The Knowledge Lab, University Book Store Malaysia and WYNKIDS Johor.
R&F Development was a sponsor at the fair. In addition to speaking to the exhibitors, many visitors purchased the 2018/2019 edition of Education Destination Malaysia at the fair. Published annually by Mint Communications, Education Destination Malaysia is a comprehensive guidebook that contains in-depth information on international schools in the country.
