Country Garden Central Park (CGCP) continues its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts by launching a charity campaign “Go For Education, Go For Young Dream”. Country Garden Group actively implements its corporate philosophy of “creating a better society with its existence” and helping local schools to improve their learning and teaching conditions as part of their mission.
A ceremony to launch the campaign was held in Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Damansara Aliff. General Manager, Brand and Culture of Country Garden Malaysia, Emma Han handed over a mock cheque of RM5,000 to the school for upgrading works. Emma hopes that the token will benefit the students while also making the public more attentive towards the importance of education. Adding to the efforts of promoting green environment, CGCP will also be taking an initiative of enhancing the school’s landscape by adding more greenery.
The school principal, Hjh Shamsiah bt A. Jabar thanked CGCP on behalf of all students and teachers and said that the contribution will motivate them to put their best foot forward in all their endeavours. The RM5,000 contribution will be utilised to build an archery range for the school in order to promote the sport which is gaining more interest among Malaysians and proven to help improve students’ personality and focus.
At the end of the handover ceremony, Emma and the school principal took park in a tree planting ceremony together as a symbol of love and hope for public welfare. The saplings represent the school children who will thrive and flourish, while its roots that grow firm on the grounds of the school will resemble public welfare.
