MDIS College Malaysia celebrated its first batch of graduates at their inaugural convocation ceremony
Graduating from college has always been a dream for many young adults. MDIS College Malaysia has made this dream come true for their students who had enrolled in their Certificate and Diploma programmes.
This pioneering convocation ceremony was held at the Grand Ballroom of KSL Hotel & Resort with a total of 244 graduates conferred with Certificates and Diplomas.
CEO of MDIS College Malaysia, Professor Dato’ Syed Ahmad Hussein gave his best wishes to the new graduates, “To all graduates from the School of Business and Management, School of Information Technology, School of Media and Communications, School of Tourism and Hospitality, School of Language and General Studies, please accept my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes as you embark on a new chapter of your life journey.”
“Convocation is a celebration of success after years of formal learning. It marks the end of one phase and the beginning of another,” he added.
Other awards presented on the day were MDIS College Malaysia’s Best Student Award, EduCity Top Students Award, High Achiever Award, and Educity Top Performing Student Award.
Among the students who achieved recognition and was awarded the MDIS College Malaysia’s Best Student and EduCity Top Student Awards were Koo Chee Wei (Diploma in International Business), Teoh Boon Yuan (Diploma in Marketing), Yin Cheng Sheng (Diploma in Business Management), Vivian Then Jin Ting (Diploma in Accounting), Chong Shin Ni (Diploma in Mass Communication), Yan Sook Juen (Diploma in Information Technology), and Michelle Lim Shuet Yee (Diploma in Tourism Management).
Michelle Lim also was awarded MDIS College Malaysia High Achiever Award and EduCity Top Performing Student Award.
MDIS Malaysia College is preparing to shift to its new campus in EduCity pending the Certificate of Completion and Compliance from local authorities and the formal approval of the Ministry of Higher Education.
